Today we had a heartfelt gathering of disciple's, God-brothers and God-sisters, and well-wishers to honor His Holiness Tamal Krishna Goswami's appearance day. As we all know, Tamal Krishna Gowsami Maharaj is loved by many, and is an ongoing inspiration to countless devotees throughout the world. He also has accomplished many great feats in regards to the preaching field, including book distribution, writing, college preaching, and even clandestine preaching in communist countries.
He also established himself as an authority in Gaudiya Vaishnava vedanta in the collegiate community. As one of Prabhupada's most dear and intimate disciples, he helped Prabhupada to open temples and establish centers all over the world, which are still thriving to this day. We are all very indebted to Tamal Krishna Goswami for his amazing loving devotional service. He lived his life completely absorbed in service to Guru and Krishna. Though no longer physically present among us, he lives forever through his instructions, books, academic works, and in the hearts of all those whose lives he touched.
Today devotees gathered in the community hall to offer their heartfelt homages to Maharaj before all that were assembled, this was followed by an offering of sumptuous prasad that was lovingly prepared. All the devotees then gathered to offer pushpanjali, and an arati cemermony. A wonderful feast was then served out in the Gada kitchen.
